Pinturas MONTÓ expands and reorganises its Pavimont range, a family of solutions for the treatment and finishing of floors designed to meet the different needs of professionals depending on the type of project and the level of performance required.
The updated range introduces two new products: Pavimont Epoxi Acqua 2C, a two-component water-based epoxy designed for floors subject to intensive use, and Pavimont Acri-Epox 1C, a single-component water-based solution formulated with pre-catalysed hybrid acrylic-epoxy technology. It delivers higher performance than conventional single-component floor coatings.
With this expansion, Pavimont strengthens its offering, covering applications ranging from private garages and storage rooms to car parks, industrial facilities, sports facilities and line-marking projects, with different systems available depending on the performance requirements.
Pavimont Epoxi Acqua 2C, the new water-based epoxy
One of the key new additions is Pavimont Epoxi Acqua 2C, a two-component water-based epoxy that provides extra hardness and high wear resistance, making it suitable for areas subject to heavy vehicle traffic.
The new product is particularly suitable for communal garages, car parks in residential buildings and indoor areas with heavy traffic, where floors are exposed to the daily movement and friction of numerous vehicles.
Pavimont Acri-Epox 1C, hybrid acrylic-epoxy technology in a single-component solution
The second new addition is Pavimont Acri-Epox 1C, a single-component water-based coating formulated with pre-catalysed hybrid acrylic-epoxy technology.
Its formulation delivers higher performance than conventional single-component coatings, combining ease of application with good mechanical and chemical resistance. It is suitable for both interior and exterior use and for floors subject to light vehicle traffic. It also offers high resistance to tyre marking.
Thanks to its properties, the new solution is particularly suited to private garages, storage rooms, utility rooms and small domestic storage areas, where ease of application is a key consideration.
A range adapted to different professional needs
The new products join a family that offers specific solutions for different applications.
For sports facilities, the range includes Pavimont Deportivos (Pavikril), a single-component, water-based acrylic coating for sports courts and recreational areas subject to intensive use, both indoors and outdoors, offering wear resistance and colour stability.
For industrial facilities, indoor garages and areas subject to passenger car or heavy machinery traffic, in addition to the new Pavimont Epoxi Acqua 2C, the range includes Pavimont Epoxi 2C (Montoepox S/M), a solvent-based solution that stands out for its high chemical and mechanical resistance, long-lasting performance and flexibility.
The range also includes Pavimont Clorocaucho, a chlorinated rubber coating for floors and metal surfaces that provides good chemical resistance to alkalis and acids. It also features specific solutions for horizontal road marking, such as Pavimont and Pavimont Acqua.
These solutions are complemented by products designed for the treatment of concrete and stamped concrete, as well as accessories such as Anti-Slip Additive and Reflective Pigment for specific applications.
For more demanding applications, such as industrial facilities requiring high chemical and abrasion resistance or outdoor public car parks, the range is complemented by the dedicated MONTÓ Industria range.
