How to apply?

Colors
Apply in accordance with the instructions given in the attached application table.
Do not apply the product at high temperatures or on surfaces exposed to strong sunlight.
Do not apply at relative humidity in excess of 80% or at temperatures below 5ºC or above 35ºC.
Maintain good ventilation conditions while drying.
Given the variety of bases and substrates, it is advisable to carry out previous tests to ensure that the product behaves as is required on surfaces with difficult, problematic or doubtful adhesion.
- To repaint with water-based products, we have Montoprimer Total Aqua. - To repaint with products differing from the recommended it is necessary to carry out tests in remote areas or refer to our Technical Department.
The base must be free from foreign materials, rust and/or waste matter.
Apply to dry bases that are cleared of grease and dust. Prepare the surface prior to application. The quality of the pre-treatment is just as important as the quality of the primer and the paint.
Next treat with Montoprimer Total followed by the intermediate layer and the finish.
A light sanding improves the adherence. Metal: Deoxidise by sanding lightly, degrease and remove dust. Apply the product in the indicated thickness. PVC: Clean, sand lightly and remove dust. Apply the product in the indicated thickness.
Wood: Remove dirt, resins and support secretions, sand lightly in line with the seams, remove dust and apply the product in the indicated thickness. In the case of outdoor wood apply anti-wood boring insect protection, Anticarcoma Klearxyl DI. Restauracion y Mantenimineto:
Follow the rules indicated for new materials with regard to removing foreign materials, grease, cleaning and treating rust. It is possible the primer may not properly adhere to old coats, unknown to the painter, making it advisable to carry out an adhesion test. If in doubt, you can remove the old paint by stripping, blasting or other means.
Then continue as if you were treating a new base.
