MARISMA BRILLANTE

-Stir the product until perfectly blended.
-Apply, following the rules set out in the attached application table.
-New wood should first be primed using Montoxyl Fondo (cod. 1301) if you wish to protect it against fungus or bacteria.
-Do not apply the product in extreme temperatures, or on surfaces exposed to strong sunlight.
-Keep the space well ventilated while the product is drying.
-Do not apply with relative humidity above 80%.

New wood surfaces:
1. The base must be free from foreign materials and/or waste products.
2. Apply on wood with a moisture content of less than 20%.
3. Apply on healthy wood that is dry and free of grease and dust.
4. Sand down and remove any remains of glue in joints and defects from mechanical processes.
5. If the wood shows signs of ageing it must first be sanded down, primed and any dust removed by brushing or any other mechanical device.
6. In this instance the most suitable primer is Selladora Sellalux.
Iron and derivatives:
1. To protect the surface, prior to decoration work, treat with suitable primers (family 6) following the specifications given on the product information sheet.
2. The surface to be painted must be free of other products and/or residues, grease and dust free, and dry. Any signs of rust should be removed by brushing or any other mechanical means. Oxifín may also be used (see product technical information sheet).
Works (plaster/ gypsum, cement and derivatives):
1. Treat these surfaces in the usual way, removing saltpetre, excess moisture and efflorescence.
2. Remove foreign products and/or waste matter.
3. Once dry, prime using Imprimación Sellalux. Restauracion y Mantenimineto:
Varnished or painted wood:
1. If varnished using Montoxyl colour: remove foreign products, remove any loose or peeling varnish, lightly sand, remove dust from sanding and proceed as on new wood.
2. If varnished, remove this by stripping with Quitamont Universal or by mechanical means and proceed as on new wood.
3. If coated with a synthetic enamel (Montosintétic, Marisma, Luxatín or similar), open the pore by sanding, remove the resulting dust and proceed as with new wood.
Iron and enamelled derivatives:
1. On paintwork that is in good condition sand down to open pore, checking that the adhesion of the paint is perfect.
2. On paint in poor condition, remove using mechanical or chemical means and proceed as on a new surface.
