- Clean the surface, removing all dirt, moss, mould, etc. and wash with non-contaminated, clean water.

Cement mortars:
1. Wait until totally set (minimum 30 days).
2. Remove foreign substances, residues or loosely attached products from the surface.
3. Remove possible efflorescence using an abrasive water jet and neutralise alkaline surfaces. Sand highly polished surfaces in order to open the pores. 4. Before preparing the surface, ensure that it is completely dry. 5. Fix crumbling surfaces with an appropriate fixer. 6. Fill in the surface’s imperfections using filling plaster.
7. Treat mould-covered surfaces with Montolimp. Restauracion y Mantenimineto:
1. Completely remove deteriorated or loosely attached old paints.
2. Shiny surfaces must be made matte in order to ensure good product adherence.
3. For painted surfaces: check the solidity and anchoring of the paint. Identify the original paint type in order to avoid possible incompatibilities and remove dust and dirt from the surface before re-painting.
4. Fill in the surface’s imperfections using filling plaster (see the lines corresponding to powdered plasters and prepared putties in Family 6 BASE PREPARATION in order to make an appropriate selection).
5. Treat mould-covered surfaces with Montolimp.
