MONTOKRIL RUGOSO BLANCO

• Do not apply the product at temperatures below 5ºC or above 35ºC or in imminent rain.

• Do not apply in full sun or on excessively humid days.

• Shake the product until thoroughly homogeneous.

• Dilute the product based on the porosity and condition of the substrate in the first coat.

• Finish with two or more coats slightly diluted until total coverage of the substrate.

New substrate:

Concrete and cement mortars:

1. Wait for complete setting, a minimum of 30 days.
2. Clean the substrate from possible efflorescence by abrasive blasting.
3. Neutralize alkaline surfaces.
4. On excessively polished surfaces, sand to open the pore.
5. Clean the substrate from foreign substances.
6. Fix delicate substrates with a suitable fixative (Fijamont or Fixing Emulsion).
7. Fill defects in the substrate (Plasmont Exteriores or equivalent from the Montó range).

Porous bricks:

1. Eliminate any cracks, holes, or irregularities with Plasmont Exterior or equivalent from the Montó range.
2. Clean the surface before painting.
3. It is advisable to apply a primer before painting, due to the porosity of the brick, to avoid high paint consumption.

Restoration and Maintenance:

1. For painted surfaces, check the solidity and anchoring of the paint, diagnose its nature to avoid possible incompatibilities, and remove dust and dirt before repainting.
2. Completely remove old paint in poor condition or poorly adhered.
3. Treat surfaces with mold using Montolimp.
4. Glossy surfaces should be toned down to ensure good adhesion.
5. Fill defects in the substrate with exterior putty (see in the BACKGROUND PREPARATION family the lines corresponding to powder putties and prepared putties to make an appropriate choice).
