MONTOSINTETIC BRILLO

• Stir the product until it is perfectly homogeneous.
• Apply to clean and dry substrates, removing dirt using degreasers or detergents and clean water.
• Apply following the rules marked in the attached application table.
• Prime previously, on new woods, with Montoxyl Primer (cod. 1301) if preventive protection against fungi or bacteria is desired.
• Do not apply the product in extreme temperatures or on surfaces exposed to strong sunlight.
• Maintain good ventilation conditions during the drying time.
• Do not apply with relative humidity higher than 80%.

New Support:

New woods:

1. The support must be free of foreign substances and/or residues.
2. Apply to woods with a moisture content below 20%.
3. Apply to healthy woods, well degreased, dust-free, and dry.
4. Sand and remove possible glue residues on assemblies and machining flaws.
5. If the wood shows signs of aging, it must be previously sanded, primed, and dust removed by brushing or any other mechanical means.
6. In this case, the most suitable primer is Sellalux Sealer.

Iron and its derivatives:

1. To protect the support, prior to decoration, treat with suitable primers (family 6) following the specifications marked in its datasheet.
2. For the decoration of the support, it must be free of foreign substances and/or residues, as well as well degreased, dust-free, and dry. If it shows signs of oxidation, rust must be removed by brushing or any other mechanical means. Oxifín is also suitable (see technical datasheet).

Masonry (plaster, cement, and derivatives):

1. Treat these supports in the usual way, removing saltpeter, excess moisture, and efflorescence.
2. Remove foreign substances and/or residues.
3. Once dry, prime with Sellalux Primer.

Restoration and Maintenance:

Varnished or painted woods:

1. If varnished with Montoxyl color: remove foreign substances, remove poorly adhered or damaged areas, sand lightly, remove the dust resulting from sanding, and proceed as with new woods.
2. If varnished, remove by stripping with Quitamont Universal or by mechanical means and proceed as with new woods.
3. If enamelled with synthetic enamel (Montosintétic, Marisma, Luxatín, or similar), open the pores by sanding, remove the resulting dust, and proceed as with new woods.

Enamelled iron and its derivatives:

1. On paints in good condition, sand to open the pores, checking that the adhesion is perfect.
2. On paints in poor condition, remove them by mechanical or chemical means and proceed as with a new support.
