Remove residues of foreign products, grease, dirt, or remnants of closed-pore varnishes.

For the removal of grease and most dirt, wash with detergent in water and let it dry. To remove paints or varnishes, strip or use mechanical means.

Stir the product until it is perfectly homogeneous. Pre-sanding with fine sandpaper is always advisable. Apply abundantly, preferably with a brush or roller, leaving excess product. Allow about 30 minutes to pass and remove the excess with a lint-free cloth, then repaint. For exquisite finishes, wait at least 4 hours between coats and sand. Then apply a second coat. Do not apply the product at high temperatures or on surfaces exposed to strong sunlight.

Maintain good ventilation conditions during the drying time.

Do not apply in relative humidity above 80%.

New Substrate:

New wood:

1. The substrate must be free of foreign substances and/or residues.

2. Apply to wood with a moisture content below 20%.

3. Apply to healthy wood, well degreased, dust-free, and dry.

4. Sand and remove possible glue residues in assemblies and machining faults.

5. If the wood shows signs of aging, it must be pre-sanded, and the dust removed by brushing or any other mechanical means.

6. When using a spray gun, the recommended application method is the Airless System. Restoration and Maintenance:

Varnished or painted woods:

1. If varnished with Montoxyl Color, remove foreign substances, eliminate poorly adhered or damaged areas, lightly sand, remove the dust from sanding, and proceed as with new wood.

2. If varnished with closed-pore varnishes such as Synthetic Varnishes or similar, remove using Universal Stripper or mechanical means and proceed as with new wood.
