Do not apply at temperatures below 5ºC or on excessively hot surfaces.

1. Once the surface is in good condition:

2. Prime with Velato Velvet Primer or with a quality Ovaldine Mate plastic paint.

It is not entirely necessary to prime with a similar color, but if desired, Ovaldine Mate in similar colors can also be used.

3. Apply Velato Velvet with a spatula or trowel.

Draped Finish:

1. Prime with Velato Velvet or a quality Ovaldine matte plastic paint.

2. Apply Velato Velvet in the chosen color with a spatula or trowel.

3. Apply with the Tampon technique (with a sponge or cloth) Velato Velvet Primer or Ovaline Mate in the selected color.

New Support:

Cement mortars:

1. Wait until fully cured (minimum 30 days).

2. Clean any possible efflorescence with abrasive blasting.

3. Neutralize alkaline surfaces.

4. On polished surfaces: sand to open pores.

5. Clean the support of foreign products.

6. Fix friable supports with Fixing Emulsion or Fijamont.

7. Fill in support defects (see family 6).

Plaster:

1. Wait until it is completely dry (max, 20% humidity).

2. Clean the support of foreign products.

3. Clean any possible efflorescence with abrasive blasting.

4. Adjust the absorption of the support with sealer, Fixer, or a diluted coat of the same product.

5. On polished surfaces: sand to open pores.

6. Fix friable supports with Fixing Emulsion or Fijamont.

7. Fill in support defects (see family 6).

Restoration and Maintenance:

1. Completely remove old, deteriorated, or poorly adhered paints.

2. Matte glossy surfaces to ensure good adhesion.

3. In painted supports, check the strength and anchorage of the paint, diagnose its nature to avoid possible incompatibilities, and remove dust and dirt before repainting.

4. Fill in support defects with plaster (see the corresponding lines in the PREPARATION OF BACKGROUNDS family for powdered plasters and prepared putties to make an appropriate choice).

5. Treat moldy supports with Montolimp.
