1. General:
- Wear goggles and gloves during application and handling.
- Stir the product until it is fully mixed.
- Pre-sand to ensure good penetration and evenness on the wood.
- Do not apply at high temperatures, or to surfaces in direct sunlight.
- Maintain good ventilation conditions during the drying time.
- Do not apply whilst the relative humidity is above 80%.
- Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
- Take extra care with hand and face hygiene after application, as well as before eating, drinking, etc.
Minimum consumption:
- 100 mL/m2. Preventive treatment against insects (woodworms and termites) and blue stain fungi.
- 130-140 mL/m2. Preventive treatment against wood-eating insects and fungi (rot).
- We should always seal the product by varnishing with finishes specifically designed for wood.
2. In order to avoid risks to people and the environment, follow the instructions for use:
- Before using the product, read the label carefully.
- Do not apply to food or kitchen utensils.
- Do not use in the presence of people or pets.
- Adequately ventilate the room where the product is applied.
- It should not be mixed with any other chemical product.
- Do not apply the product in places where it could contaminate surface waters.
- Cover the ground with plastic sheeting during outdoor application.
- Manage waste and packaging in an appropriate manner.
3. Specific:
- General public: Apply the product undiluted with a brush or roller.
- Specialised professional: by brushing, rolling or dipping.
New surfaces
On uncontaminated wood, usable as a preventive.
- The surface must be free of foreign products and/or residues.
- It is advisable to open the pores of the wood by sanding (40-80).
- When applying the product, the moisture content of the wood shall not exceed 18% and the surface of the wood shall be
dry, clean and free of any rot at the time of treatment.
- During application and drying, the temperature must be above 5°C and the relative humidity below 80%.
Restoring and maintenance
- Remove residues of previous varnishing by mechanical means and/or sanding down to the bare wood.
- If this is not possible directly, strip beforehand.
- Treat and finish as with new wood.
