Stir the product until it is perfectly homogeneous.

Dilute the first coat adequately to achieve good penetration into the substrate.

It can be applied without the need for sanding between coats, although it is advisable to proceed with a light sanding to ensure perfect adhesion, especially in the case of wood prone to repelling.

Similarly, to achieve a silky finish, it is advisable to sand before the final coat.

It is recommended to prime with Montoxyl Fondo (Code: 1301).

Do not apply the product at high temperatures or on surfaces exposed to strong sunlight.

Maintain good ventilation conditions during the drying time.

Do not apply with relative humidity above 80%.

If tinting this product with Montotinte Universal or the Montomix System, use this tint as a base, following the direction of the grain and diluting appropriately. Homogenize regularly during the painting process.

Tinting significantly increases its resistance to UV.

New Substrate:

New woods:

• Outdoors, protect the wood with Anticarcomas Klearxyl Di from attacks by fungi and xylophagous insects.

• The substrate must be free of foreign substances and/or residues.

• Apply to woods with a moisture content below 12%.

• Apply to healthy woods, well degreased, without dust, and dry.

• Sand and remove possible glue residues on joints and machining faults.

• If the wood shows signs of aging, it must be previously sanded, and the dust removed by brushing or any other mechanical means.

• Priming with Montoxyl Fondo (Code: 501301) is recommended as a fungicidal protector. Restoration and Maintenance:

Varnished or painted woods:

• If varnished with Montoxyl Fondo (Code: 1301 or 1314), remove foreign substances, eliminate poorly adhered or damaged areas, sand lightly, remove the dust resulting from sanding, and proceed as with new woods.

• If varnished with Montoxyl Acabado (Code: 1302, 1303, 1308), remove foreign substances, eliminate poorly adhered or damaged areas, sand lightly, remove the dust resulting from sanding, and proceed as with new woods.

• If varnished with closed-pore varnishes such as Matte Universal Synthetic Varnish (Code: 1350), Satin (Code: 1360), or Glossy (Code: 1370), Velero Varnish (Code: 1380), High Mountain Varnish (Code: 1385), or similar, remove by stripping with Quitamont Universal (Code: 3510) or by mechanical means and proceed as with new woods in case of blisters, raised edges, or cracks. If the surface is in good condition, sand lightly, remove the dust resulting from sanding, and proceed as with new woods.

• If varnished with cellulose or polyurethane varnishes, remove by stripping with Quitamont Universal (Code: 3510) or by mechanical means and proceed as with new woods, in case of blisters, raised edges, or cracks. In the case of polyurethanes and if the surface is in good condition, sand lightly, remove the dust resulting from sanding, and proceed as with new woods.

• If enamelled with synthetic enamel (Montosintetic Code: 2020, 2024), Marisma (Code: 2010, 2014), Luxatín (Code: 2028), or similar, remove by stripping with Quitamont Universal (Code: 3510) or by mechanical means and proceed as with new woods.

• Outdoors, protect the wood with Anticarcomas Klearxyl Di from attacks by fungi and xylophagous insects.

• In any case, adherence to old paints should be checked.
